A group of 8 Anglers, friends from UK, NZ and US spent 6 days fishing with our guides Chris, Tristan & Wayne Sept 2019. Absolutely fantastic Sturgeon fishing with 188 fish landed including 3 over 8 feet and well over a dozen over 7. Everything ran like clockwork from start to finish. My first trip with Bluewater Rockies, but my friends have returned on several occasions and I now understand why. I can not recommend them enough if you like fishing then this is the trip for you. Thanks for a brilliant holiday.
Spent another fabulous week on the Fraser with Chris following our first visit last year, once again fishing was suburb with over 45 Sturgeon landed up to 8’2″ with many over 6′. Chris’ boat is perfect for the job; and all equipment is in top condition with new rods and good reels etc that were all matched for fish of this size. Well worth the journey from the UK for an unmatched fishing experience. Going back 2019 and can’t wait.
We had 9 days salmon and sturgeon fishing with Bluewater and was the best experience you could ever hope for. Our guide Sacha (bro) was brilliant and put us consistently on both salmon and sturgeon. Thanks again to Chris and the boys for making this a venture one we will never forget. Cheers guys and see you next year.
From start to finish this trip has been the smoothest I have ever had. From contacting Chris to book the fishing. His flexibility around fishing dates, accommodating me to have a girlie trip in Vancouver. Checking in to make sure the trip was going as planned. The detailed invoice making it easy to go to a bank in the UK and just pay. The fishing well what can I say I think I cried when I seen the first sturgeon jump. I laughed and cried when we landed them. We caught Chinook and Chum. James was just an absolute diamond. He had the patience of a saint. He made sure we never left that river with a blank. He made lunchtimes fun. Our group caught over 80 salmon and 5 sturgeon for the week. Stuff that dreams were made of. We were planning to return to Alaska next year but this company impressed us so much we are taking the family next year. I am happy to answer any questions but use Chris and his team. They will not disappoint.

We landed 18 prize salmon and lost quite a few others. The B&B Chris organized again was utterly exception – Mike and Adriana were fantastic hosts, what a venue! To sum up if it were possible to give ten stars I would give them happily, a fantastic holiday, great fishing and a fantastic company. Saving like crazy so we can do it all again next year.

If given the opportunity, we will always give our clients a phone call first.
We would like to give you a call to help explain the timing of our seasonal fisheries and to provide you with all the different fishing options that will be available at the time of your trip. We can also offer you our advise/recommendations on best times to come, discuss tackle/equipment, accommodation options, and we can answer any questions that you may have at the same time. This will make the planning process considerably easier. We find that a personal phone call is a lot more effective when discussing all the different trip options available…..and much quicker too.
We deal with many UK guests each and every year, so long distance phone calls are not a problem for us. As you’re inquiring from the UK, there is an 8hr time difference, and we can schedule an evening phone call based on this time difference. We find that phone calls between 10am-noon BC time (6pm-8pm UK time) work best for most UK guests.
