Info On Your Fishing Guide
Most memorable catch:
That would be up on Tunkwa lake, fishing with my son Tyler when he was 4, and helping him hook and land his 1st fish. I don’t know who was more excited me or him. I will never forget that day.
Favourite target species:
By far my favorite is Sturgeon. There is nothing better than having a 6 foot plus fish jumping and dancing on the end of your line . The power and strength of these fish is nothing short of amazing and is a rush for me every time.
My 2nd choice would be Chum salmon as they are aggressive to bite and they always give you a great battle, whether it be casting jigs or fly fishing.
Favourite hobbies and interests:
Spending time with my wife and son is number one. I also enjoy Camping, Drag racing cars, and Hockey.
How long have you been fishing for:

21 foot Thunderjet Skeena Classic
I have been fishing for over 40 years. It all started when I was 5 years old, spending the summers up in the Kamloops area lakes, with my grandpa, and fly fishing for trout. As my passion grew for fishing, I started to fish the fall salmon runs in the local, lower mainland rivers, which naturally progressed to winter Steelhead fishing. I was then introduced to the Fraser river sturgeon fishery by a good friend of mine some years back and still cant get enough of it.
Why you enjoy guiding:
I enjoy guiding for many reasons but there is nothing better than helping guests hook into their fish of a lifetime. Whether it be a Sturgeon or a Salmon, seeing the smiles on their faces while they battle that fish on the end of their line makes every trip worth while.
Top fishing goals/expectations:
My main goal is to enjoy every minute out on the water and to have fun. To me that is what fishing is all about. With that said, I really want to get into a 10 foot plus Sturgeon as that is my fish of a lifetime
