Fishing In Canada – Trip Reviews
Many of our guests truly have a remarkable time fishing in Canada with us. Here a view stories from just a small fraction of our clients. The Fraser River holds many amazing fishing opportunities for those that have never experienced it. If it’s not on your bucket-list, then you are truly missing out on this amazing fishery, not to mention some of the best BC fly fishing opportunities in the world.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the best day of fishing I have ever had. The scenery was superb the fishing was phenomenal and it was a pleasure to spend the time in the boat with you. An extremely professional guide with a strong enthusiasm and love of what you do. Nothing seemed to be a hassle and there was no clockwatching. The sturgeon tagging program was an added point of interest. Knowing that through our fishing, important information was being gathered on these mysterious fish. I would never hesitate in recommending you to other people (in fact I have already passed on one of your leaflets to a client of mine).“If you get the chance could you email the tag details of the big fat sturgeon I caught? It would be very interesting to know. Also I would like you to know that my arms and shoulders ached for a couple of days after our trip. (That fish was a long time coming in).”“P.S I will try and work extra hard so that hopefully will be able to afford to fish the Fraser again in the future. (With yourself of course).”

“I would like to tell you how much all of us thoroughly enjoyed this fishing trip. It will be at the top of my list as far as fishing adventures go for a long, long time. I have been showing pictures of this trip to a lot of friends, one friend immediately found your web page and will most likely be calling you for next year. Chris, we all believe you are one of the best fishing guides that British Columbia has to offer. Your hospitality had over-whelmed us, as well as the love and care for preserving our natural resources. Again thanks Chris, and am looking forward to next year. You & yours have a great Christmas & Happy New Year.”

“First of all it has always been fly fishing in the fall for Salmon which has drawn me back to the Fraser and Harrison and using River Sport Fishing as our guiding company. The average size of fish was exceptional, Chum averaging 15lb, Kings up to and including 50lbs, no big Coho or Sockeye probably the Sockeye were about 7 - 8lbs and the Coho much the same.”“As to the guides, bearing in mind I have used guides for almost 50 years now, and I can honestly say that I have never met such a professional group of guides in all my years fishing. I would recommend any guide from River Sport Fishing for your fishing excursions. Each guide has a full knowledge of not only the quarry species you are after, but are exceptional fly casters in their own right.”“If you do go with River Sport Fishing I guarantee you that you will agree that these guys, this company, are interested in only one thing - making sure you enjoy the ultimate Pacific Salmon fishing experience.”

“I do not pretend to be any kind of writer, but I would like to share my last fishing holiday, when I visited Canada – it ended up being the fishing trip of a lifetime. If anyone is thinking of going to British Columbia, visit the Fraser River. Last but no means least was the excellent guiding service provided by Chris Ciesla”

“Our trip to the Fraser River with 5 Fishermen from October 29 – November 09, 2011 may be counted among the very successful fishing trips! The anticipation was high, fueled by upbeat reports, YouTube movies and own ideas. All in all, the fishing was very diverse with a top accommodation, we will be back!”
